During the third quarter of 2024, the top five News and Magazines applications in Tunisia showcased varying trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of each app:

Starting with over 4K downloads in early July, the numbers dipped mid-quarter, hitting a low of about 1K. However, the app rebounded in September, peaking at approximately 9.4K downloads by the end of the month. Active users also experienced a rise, growing from around 81K to nearly 86K over the quarter.

Biwaï had a notable spike in downloads during the last week of August, reaching nearly 6K. This was a significant increase from the beginning of the quarter, where downloads were as low as 102. The rest of the quarter showed fluctuating numbers, settling at around 291 downloads by the end of September.

However, there was a recovery towards the end of September, with downloads rising to 772. Al Jazeera maintained relatively stable download figures initially, with a noticeable surge towards the end of the quarter. Downloads increased from 273 in early July to over 2.3K by late September. Active users mirrored this trend, growing from 2.1K to over 4.1K in the same period.
